Zona Ann Addis, 70, passed away Friday morning, April 5, 2013 at her home in Montrose.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 8, 2013 at St. Rose Catholic Church in Montrose with burial in St. Rose Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday evening at the church with a 7:00 p.m. parish wake service. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Zona was born April 30, 1942 in Effingham, the daughter of Joseph and Velear (Scott) Goeckner. She married Glenn Addis on August 18, 1962. Zona was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and women's sodality.

Through her pain and the many difficulties she faced in her life, she enjoyed living and spending time with family and her many friends.

Zona is survived by her husband, Glenn of Montrose; three sons, Rick and Tony, both of Montrose and Greg (Donna) Addis of Teutopolis; daughter, Becky (Roy) Jansen of Teutopolis; her only sibling, brother, Larry (Betty) Goeckner of Dieterich; grandchildren, Josh, Jason, Mitch and Tricia Addis, Ryan (Holly), Lyle and Kayla Jansen, Ian, Evan and Gavin Addis; great-grandchild, Grady Jansen.

Zona was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Lisa and nephew, Doug Goeckner.
