Zelmon Lee Kissiar, 84 of Vandalia, Illinois passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.

Zelmon was born March 22, 1936 in Warrenton, Missouri, the son of Ferrill and Stella (Hall) Kissiar. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Zelmon is survived by his son, Jimmie Kissiar and daughter, Jayne Lathrope, both of Wisconsin; sisters, Shirley McCormick of Shumway, IL and Zona Newton of Barlow, KY; brothers, Eddie (Paula) of Benton, KY, James (Judy) of St. Peter, IL and Bob (Deb) of Vandalia, IL; grandchildren, Jason Kissiar and Corby Lathrope; several nieces and nephews.

Zelmon was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Cindy Kissiar.
