Wilma A. Funneman, 80, passed away at 3:45 p.m., Sunday, December 9, 2012 at her home in Teutopolis.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 13, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday night at the church with a 7:00 p.m. Parish rosary. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. www.bauerfh.com
Wilma was born March 17, 1932 in Teutopolis, the daughter of Edward and Josephine (Doedtman) Hatke. She married Robert B. Funneman on May 7, 1949 and he preceded her in death in 2005. Wilma was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis and the St. Francis Council of Catholic Women.
Wilma is survived by her three sons, Wayne (Jeannie), Maurice and Ted, all of Teutopolis; five daughters, Janet (Roger) Woods of Grand Island, FL, Nancy (Les) Boothby of Effingham, Debbie (Doug) Niemerg of Teutopolis, Judy (Denny) Niemerg of Teutopolis and Cindy (Doug) Buenker of Teutopolis; two sisters, Lorraine Berger and Joyce (Loy) Cash, both of Effingham; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren also survive.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert and son, Gary.
