William D Kingery's Obituary
William D. "Bill" Kingery, 88 of Montrose, passed away on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 at the Hallmark Care Facility in Carlinville, IL.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with private burial in Montrose Cemetery.
He was born on March 29, 1933 to parents John E. Kingery and Vela E. (Jackson) Kingery in the countryside of Montrose, IL.
Bill was drafted into the Army in 1953 and served in Germany for 2 years. He worked for Cutts Lumber Company in Montrose most of his life.
Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lois (Morey) Kingery and children, Julie Kingery of Sioux Falls, SD and Mark (Erica) Kingery of Belleville; brothers, Donald (Doris) Kingery of Toledo and Max (Linda) Kingery of Mattoon, along with eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Tim Kingery; brothers, John Kingery and Richard Kingery.
