William R. "Bill" Huelsbusch, 89 of Effingham, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 at HSHS St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to St. Anthony Schools.

Bill was born July 16, 1932 in Effingham, the son of Henry J. and Agnes C. (Feldhake) Huelsbusch. He married Doris Jean "Jeanne" Thies on May 23, 1959 and she preceded him in death in 2014. Bill was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Effingham and was a union plumber for over 40 years.

Bill is survived by his children, Chris (Carmen) and Sherri (Tom) Rhodes, both of Effingham; six grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer Huelsbusch of Franklin, TN, Jacob Huelsbusch of Effingham, Ryan Huelsbusch of Effingham, Lindsay Rhodes (fiance, Colby Glover) of Effingham, Alex Rhodes of Los Angeles, CA and Landon Rhodes of Effingham.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; wife; infant daughters, Mary Jean and Ann; brother, Frank Huelsbusch and sisters, Louise Kuntzi and Elizabeth Kabbes.
