Wanda Mae Gordon's Obituary
Wanda Mae Gordon, 85 of Cowden, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
No public services will be held at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham.
Wanda was born December 24, 1940, the daughter of Frank and Mae (Banning) Carnes. She is survived by her sons, Wayne (DeAnna) of Cowden and Darrell of Effingham; grandchildren, Renia (Aaron) Holley, Matthew (Stephanie) Gordon, Tyler (Brandi) Gordon and Myka (Myron) Bowers and eleven great-grandchildren.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Debbie; two infant brothers; daughter-in-law, Donna Riley-Gordon and grandson, Dylan Gordon.
