Thomas G. Hurst's Obituary
Thomas G. Hurst, 64 of Effingham, passed away Thursday morning, February 19, 2015 at Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Effingham.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham, In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Thomas was born March 16, 1950 in Shelbyville, the son of Ferdinand and Genevieve (Linder) Hurst. He is survived by his brother, James "Jim" (Jackie) Hurst of Omaha, NE; two nieces and three nephews. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.
