Tad J. "Bear" Kopf, 50 of Effingham, passed away October 2, 2016 at the Siteman Cancer Center, Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and may be accepted at the funeral or online at www.nationalmssociety.org/Donate.
Tad was born April 13, 1966, the son of Theodore A. and Billie F. (Howard) Kopf.
He is survived by his sister, Fonda Tucker of Seymour; half-sister, Char (Dennis) Benton of Geneva and nephew, Calvin Tucker. Tad was preceded in death by his parents.
