Susan J. Abraham, 58, passed away Thursday morning, August 24, 2017 at her home in Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Noon, Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Hazel Dell Cemetery, Jasper County, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to time of service, Wednesday morning at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her family to assist with final expenses.

Susan was born July 1, 1959 in Mattoon, the daughter of Clyde and Betty (Simpson) Hanners. She married Ronald L. Abraham on April 20, 1988 and he survives. Susan is also survived by her two sons, Paul of Champaign and Phillip of Effingham; daughter, Karon Abraham of Effingham and three grandchildren, Shayla, Ebony and Skye.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael.
