Steven J. L. Habing's Obituary
Steven J. L. Habing, 26 of Effingham, passed away Friday, August 9, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Arborcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Effingham. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Steven was born January 7, 1987 in Effingham, the son of John and Crystal (Moriearty) Habing. He married Kerrie A. (Herd) on December 7, 2012. Steven was the owner and operator of Habing Guns in Effingham. He was a member of the Effingham County Sportsman Club, Ducks Unlimited, NWTF and a lifetime member of NRA.
Steven is survived by his wife, Kerrie of Effingham; parents, John and Crystal of Effingham; twin brother, Michael of Effingham; father and mother-in-law, Bob and Cindy Herd of Teutopolis; grandfather, John Habing, Sr. of Effingham; grandmother, Darlene Moriearty of Effingham and grandparents, Pink and Gayle Golden of Effingham.
Steven was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jane Habing and grandfather, Norman Moriearty.
