Steven Bradley Fruchtl, 51, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 5, 2012 at St. Anthony of Pudua Church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Steve was born on September 28, 1960 in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of Richard and Sandra(Feuerborn) Fruchtl. He was a 1979 graduate of Effingham High School and was employed by Frontier Refinery in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Steve was a avid golfer and enjoyed many other activities including boating, fishing, jet skis and snow skiing. He was loved by many and a good friend to all. His wit, humor, charm and smile will be sorely missed by all who knew him, especially his two sons to whom he was a proud and loving father.
He is survived by his two sons, William and Daniel Fruchtl of San Buena Ventura, california; his parents, Richard and Sandra of Effingham; 3 brothers, Eric of Burnsville, Minnesota. Jeff of Fredonia, Wisconsin, Ted (wife Jenny) of Effingham; nephew, Mike Fruchtl of St. Paul, Minnesota; niece, Jennifer Smith of Merced, California; special friend, Marilyn Powers Figgins of Stewardson; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Louis and Gertrude Fruchtl, Herbert "Buck" and Geraldine "Jerry" Feuerborn; uncle, Lawrence "Larry" Feuerborn; nephew, Joseph "Joe" Fruchtl; aunt, Jane and uncle Jim Ranry.
