Sharon K. Stiffler, 74 of Effingham, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial will be in Mahon Cemetery, Mason. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to time of service, Wednesday at the funeral home.

Sharon was born on August 24, 1947 in Effingham County Illinois, the daughter of Leon A. and Lela (Wright) Stiffler.  She worked for many years at ARC Community Services.  Sharon loved spending time with her family and socializing.  She only saw the good in everyone, therefore she never met a stranger.  Sharon made the most of the gifts God gave her and she extended love to everyone.  She will be best remembered for her kindness and for her fried chicken.

Sharon is survived by her brother, Vernon Stiffler; sisters, Barbara Vanatta, Linda Wolf, Elizabeth Phelan, Wanda McCoy and Vickie Stout; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers David Stiffler, Larry Stiffler, Charles Stiffler and sister Anita Cowger.
