Sharon Trefzer Brown, 65, of Las Vegas, formerly of the Effingham area, died at 4:10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, in Las Vegas.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bauer Funeral Home, Effingham. A private burial will be held after services. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Sharon was born Oct. 27, 1945, in Vandalia, the daughter of Herbert and Virginia (Myers) Trefzer. She was a loving, caring daughter, mother, grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, Michael (Debbie) Lewis of Las Vegas and Todd Lewis of Redmond, Wash.; her mother, Virgina Trefzer of Effingham; sister, Nancy Jerger of Las Vegas; four grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; two nieces; three great-nieces; and one great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her father.
