Sharon L. Bludworth, 74 of Effingham, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

No services will be held at this time.

Sharon was born October 20, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Lloyd and Cona Jean (Hayes) Pennington. She married Kenneth R. Bludworth on July 15, 1967 and he survives.

Sharon is also survived by her daughter, Shalina (Dean) Hille of Sigel; sister, Loretta Walls of Dongola; grandsons, Mitchell (Mayce) Frey of Le High Acres, FL and Trenton (Michaela) Frey of Effingham; step-grandchildren, Kyle (Amy) Hille, Dylan Hille (Josh), and Heather (Mark) Schmidt; great-grandchildren, Harper Frey, Keagan Frey, Hunter, Westin and Zain Hille, and Graham Schmidt.
