Scott A. McMahan, 65 of Effingham, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2020 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Ramsey Cemetery, rural Effingham. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to the donor's choice.

Scott was born May 28, 1954 in Urbana, the son of Robert and Elizabeth "Betty Lou" (Campbell) McMahan. He married Barb Schlanser on September 28, 1974. Scott was a member of the Effingham Knights of Columbus Council #665, Elks Lodge #1016 and the Watson Masonic Lodge #602.

Scott is survived by his wife, Barb of Effingham; daughter, April (special friend, Tom West) of Effingham; siblings, Steven (Debbie) of Louisville, KY, Patrick of Mascoutah, Tim of Louisville, KY, Todd of Effingham and Karen (Tony) Randall of Largo, FL.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Robert M. and David McMahan.
