Scott Orrin McDaniel passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022 at his home in Pinckneyville, IL.

Scott was born to Myrl Richard and Georgia (Myers) McDaniel on September 23, 1970 in Effingham, IL.

Scott graduated from Effingham High School in 1989.

Scott is survived by his cousins Corey (Heather) McDaniel and their children, Brady and Ian, of Effingham, Douglas (Sandy) Heiden of Shumway, Linda Carter of Louisiana, and Cathy Loftin of Arizona.  He is also survived by his significant other Matthew Presutti.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Christopher McDaniel; grandmother, Marie McDaniel; grandfather, Myrl McDaniel; and uncles, Michael McDaniel and Robert McDaniel.

The family is having a private family burial on Friday, November, 18 th .
