Obituary

Scott Spencer Karr, 57, of Effingham, died suddenly on Monday, April 11, 2011 while doing what he loved most in this world: hunting. Scott was born on February 24, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Robert and Martha (Guscott) Karr.

Scott was an avid outdoorsman and hunted throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Scott was a self taught taxidermist and his skills were well known to all who saw his amazing animal collection.

Scott is survived by his sister, Kathryn Shepler of Bowling Green, Ohio and a niece and nephew. Kathryn wishes to thank all of Scott's friends, hunting buddies and co-workers at Sav-A-Lot for their overwhelming outpouring of support.

Scott was "one of a kind" and will be greatly missed by all those who were lucky enough to know him. He was cremated and his ashes will be returned to the outdoors he loved so much.

Scott is preceded in death by his parents.
