Sally L. Kyle, 81 of Shumway, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Beecher City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Sally was born June 18, 1940 in Taylorville, the daughter of Theran and Janie (Durbin) Rand. She married Ronald W. Kyle on June 20, 1959 and was a member of the Beecher City Church of Christ. Sally was an office deputy with the Effingham County Sheriff's Department for over thirty years.

Sally is survived by her children, Troy (Sheryl) of Shumway, Jason (Cheri) of Gonzales, TX, Shannon (Sheila) of Altamont and Alisia (Paul) Gardner of Shumway; seven grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; Ron's siblings, Lloyd (Nancy) of Shelbyville, Bill (Diane) of Litchfield, Joe (Kathy) of Veedersburg, IN, Irene Lewis of Lewisville, TX, Bonnie Durbin of Pekin and Shirley Davis of Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron; Ron's siblings, Patricia Kyle, Glenna (Gerald) Flesner and Royal (Lois) Kyle; brothers-in-law, Howard Lewis, Robert Davis and Roland Durbin.
