Ruth Ann Wolf, 67, passed away at 4:20 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015 at her home in Teutopolis.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2015 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with private burial in Arborcrest Memorial Park, Effingham. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Ruth was born July 4, 1947 in Effingham, the daughter of Sherman and Nadine (McDaniel) Peters. She married Eugene L. "Gene" Wolf on February 11, 1967 and he preceded her in death in 2011. Ruth was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Effingham.
Ruth is survived by her son, Bob of Elgin; daughter, Paula of Teutopolis; two brothers, Ray (Margaret Ann) Peters of Cowden and Paul (Wanda) Peters of Funkhouser; ten grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene and sister, Shirley Robertson.
