Ruth Ann Myers, 84, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023 at her home in Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Arborcrest Memorial Park in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm to the time of service, Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.

Ruth Ann was born October 21, 1938, the daughter of Ira and Gladys (Decker) Niccum. She married David L. Myers on October 22, 1955 and he preceded her in death in 2020.

Ruth Ann is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Dennis) Birkey of Dewey; son, Richard of Effingham; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Jeremy, Erin, and Joshua; seven great-grandchildren.

Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Marian, Marjorie, and Mary Lou.
