Ruth Barlage's Obituary
Ruth D. Barlage, 100, of Effingham, passed away at 1:30 a.m., Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation in Effingham.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Visitation will held from 9:00 a.m. until time of service, Tuesday morning at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church or to the St. Anthony Schools. www.bauerfh.com
Ruth was born July 27, 1911 in Effingham, the daughter of George and Lena (Tegenkamp) Barlage.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jack and Bob; one sister, Margaret.
