Rowan Alexander Sasse, infant son of Nicholas Sasse and Sarah Brackney, passed away July 8, 2019 at St. Louis Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Faith Lutheran Church, Shumway, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at the church. Memorial donations may be given to the Ronald McDonald House Charity.

Rowan was born June 12, 2019. He is survived by his parents and twin sister, Lilly Grace, of Effingham; grandparents, William "Bill" and Lisa Brackney of Effingham, Carol Sasse of West Bend, WI and Jeff & Kathy Sasse of Ocomowoc, WI; great-grandmother, Bernice Sasse of Menominee Falls, WI; aunts and uncles, Tom & Robyn, Bernie & Jill, Ben & Kayla, Ranae and Elizabeth; as well as many loving cousins.
