Ronald W. Kyle, 82 of Shumway passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Beecher City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to Effingham City Police K9 Fund, Effingham County K9 Fund or the Effingham County Dive Rescue Team.

Ron was born March 6, 1939 in Shumway, the son of Glen W. and Bessie E. (Dial) Kyle. He married Sally L. Rand on June 20, 1959 and was a member of the Beecher City Church of Christ. Ron spent many years farming and later worked at Stillwater Industries in Effingham.

Ron is survived by his children, Troy (Sheryl) of Shumway, Jason (Cheri) of Gonzales, TX, Shannon (Sheila) of Altamont and Alisia (Paul) Gardner of Shumway; seven grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; Ron's siblings, Lloyd (Nancy) of Shelbyville, Bill (Diane) of Litchfield, Joe (Kathy) of Veedersburg, IN, Irene Lewis of Lewisville, TX, Bonnie Durbin of Pekin and Shirley Davis of Springfield.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sally; siblings, Patricia Kyle, Glenna (Gerald) Flesner and Royal (Lois) Kyle; brothers-in-law, Howard Lewis, Robert Davis and Roland Durbin.
