Ron Wernsing's Obituary
Ronald L. "Ron" Wernsing, 54, of Teutopolis died at 5:32 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2011, at St. John's Hospital, Springfield.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Teutopolis. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Teutopolis. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today, April 11, with a 6:30 p.m. Knights of Columbus rosary at the church. Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation. Bauer Funeral Home, Teutopolis, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ronald was born July 21, 1956, in Effingham, the son of Robert L. and Dolores (White) Wernsing.
He was a logistics manager for Krispy Kreme/Harlan Bakeries. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Teutopolis, Teutopolis Knights of Columbus Council 2874 and the Fourth Degree.
Ronald is survived by his father, Robert L. Wernsing of Teutopolis; sister, Andrea (special friend, Roger Koelsch) Wernsing of Teutopolis; nephew, Neema Borji, stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida; niece, Sara Borji of Columbia, Mo.; and many friends in the area.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
