Robert E. Sparr's Obituary
Robert E. Sparr, 80 of Stewardson, passed away at 1:32 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016 at H.S.H.S. St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
According to his wishes, no services will be held. Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.bauerfh.com.
Robert was born February 1, 1936 in Arcola, the son of Robert and Lena (Waugh) Sparr. He married Ethel Marie Summerton and she preceded him in death on May 29, 2015. Robert served with the United States Navy and was a retired over-the-road truck driver.
Robert is survived by his three sons, Richard Sparr of Stewardson, Rob Sparr of Strasburg and John (Mira) Zumwalt of Jackson, MS; daughter, Sandra (Steve) Aderman of Bates City, MO; two brothers, Lonnie and Bill; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Don Zumwalt; infant sister and grandson, D.J..
