Richard "Duke" Lance III, 48, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022 in Bay Minnette, Alabama.

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with a memorial visitation being held from 2:00 p.m. until service time.

Duke was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on Thursday, June 21, 1973.

He is survived by his sons, Garrett and Evan; mother of his sons, Tammy Smith; mother, Carol Lance; sisters, Shannon (Jeremy) Nicholson and Michelle (Steve) McCann, and brother, William (Rusty) Lance.

Duke was preceded in death by his father, Richard II, and sister, Victoria.
