Rebekah Lynn Deters

Rebekah Lynn "Becky" Deters, 64 of Teutopolis, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, August 3, 2026 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday at Bauer Funeral Home in Teutopolis.

Becky was born May 7, 1962 in Champaign, the daughter of John and Patricia (Hudson) West. She married Michael "Mick" Deters on August 11, 1984. Becky was the Office Manager and Insurance Agent at Home Farmers Mutual for close to 30 years and was apart of many state insurance boards. Becky enjoyed living in the country on the farm and was always taking sunset pictures every night and posting for all to enjoy. She loved her children and grandchildren immensely and would brag about all their accomplishments every chance she got. She had a love for jewelry and shoes and never met a sale she didn’t like.

Becky is survived by her husband, Mick of Teutopolis; daughters, Rachel (Zach) Myers of Teutopolis and Gabi (Jesse) Bushue of Effingham; sons, Sam (Elise) Deters of Teutopolis and Jacob Deters of Chicago; grandchildren, Kaylee, Alyssa, Paisley, Nolan, Declan, Lilly, Zeke, Anastacia, and Elijah; sisters, Robin (Dennis) Hostetter of Windsor and Rhonda (Mark) Mitchell of Edgewood; brothers, Terry (Margie) West of Claremore, OK and Tom (April) West of Effingham.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Steven.
