Raymond L. Young, 75 of Neoga, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Willow Breeze Hospice House in Mattoon.

No services are planned at this time. Memorial donations may be given to Ray's family to help with final expenses.

Ray was born January 4, 1949 in Mattoon, the son of Harry Lucas and Loretta Vera (McClain) Young. He married Sharon L. Schott on April 3, 2006.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon of Neoga; step-son, Jeff Ogle of Neoga; brothers, Dave (Linda) Young of Sigel, Tom (Jane) Young of Sigel, Dennis Young of Effingham, Dana Young of Neoga, and Todd Young of Mattoon; sisters, Vera (Larry) Fox of Canton, TX and Sandy Young of Neoga; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harry Dean; nephew, Jeremy Young, and sister-in-law, Patricia Young.
