Philip M. Mathews' Obituary
Philip M. Mathews, 24, of Effingham, passed away Sunday morning, August 7, 2011.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mathews family.
Philip was born on June 23, 1987, the son of Philip K. and Joyce (Vogt) Mathews.
He is survived by his parents; three brothers, Kurtis, Christopher and Michael; paternal grandparents, Jim and Nancy Mathews; maternal grandparents, Clem and Doris Vogt, all of Effingham.
Philip was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Vogt.
