Pauline C. Jansen's Obituary
Pauline C. Jansen, 91 of Effingham, passed away at 11:40 p.m., Sunday, August 3, 2014 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 11, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Green Creek, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Monday morning at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Pauline was born May 12, 1923 in Effingham, the daughter of William and Philomena (Kortte) Jansen. She was a longtime cook for Green Creek School and the Ramada Inn in Effingham. Pauline was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Green Creek.
Pauline is survived by her nieces and nephews, Jean (Roy) Campbell of Effingham, Rosie Kingery of Teutopolis, Kenneth (Peggy) Funneman of Teutopolis, Linda (Dave) Young of Sigel, Frank (Cathy) Funneman of Effingham, Dolores (Pete) Wilmarth of Frisco, TX and Dennis (Marilee) Funneman of Teutopolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Louis and Andrew; sisters, Mary Funneman and Rita Jansen; her nephew, Jerry and nieces, Marilyn and Marita.
