Patricia L. Young, 63 of Neoga, passed away at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign-Urbana.

A celebration of Pat's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Municipal Building in Neoga. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in her name, to Bauer Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.bauerfh.com.

Pat was born June 14, 1954 in Mattoon, Illinois, the daughter of Joy (Joe) Blair and Norma (Huff) Blair Lackey. She married Dana Young on April 8, 1989 at the Neoga Free Methodist Church. She was a working professional for many years, most notably as a secretary for Shelter Insurance in Effingham until being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2004.

She is survived by her husband, Dana of Neoga; two sons, Rob Rogers of Saginaw, Michigan, and Brad Young of Neoga; one daughter, Melissa (Rogers) Welty and her husband Steve of Flora; three sisters, Karen (Blair) Correll and her husband Les of Sigel, Darla (Blair) Weaver and her husband Eric of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Jodi (Blair) Wortham and her husband Bob of Allenville; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents.
