Patricia R. Mateer's Obituary
Patricia R. Mateer 86, of Gallatin, Tennessee formerly of Effingham passed away Tuesday morning May 17, 2016, at Golden Living Brandywood Care Center in Gallatin TN.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2016 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Oakridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held for 1 hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Bauer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Patricia was born April 20, 1930, in Birdseye Indiana the daughter of Hilbert and Vivian Schnell. She married George Mateer in 1954 and he preceded her in death in 1990. While living in Effingham Patricia had first worked at Anderson Jewelry and later at Kirlin's Hallmark Store.
Patricia is survived by her daughter Vaune (Michael) Taylor of Avon, Indiana, and a Granddaughter Dayton Schleicher, of Gallatin, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George and 1 daughter RuAnn.
