James Parker Borries, 38, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at his home in Effingham.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to time of mass, Saturday morning at the church.

Parker was born April 6, 1983, the son of James L. Borries Jr. and Carrie Ruholl. Parker attended Teutopolis High School and enjoyed playing the drums for Mr. Lindvahl.

Parker is survived by his parents; step-brother, Christopher Esker; step-sister, Kandice Frese and special friend, Rachael Renee. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James L. (wife, Betty) Borries Sr. and Dale (wife, Ilene) Stanley.
