Norma Jean Lueken, 80, of Teutopolis died at 3:21 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at her home in rural Teutopolis.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Teutopolis. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Teutopolis. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church with a combined Catholic Daughters of America and Council of Catholic Women rosary at 4:30 p.m. and a 6:30 p.m. parish wake services. Visitation will also be held from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at St. Clare Hall in the church. Memorials may be made to Catholic Heart Work Camp or Alzheimer's Assocation. Bauer Funeral Home, Teutopolis, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Lueken was born April 6, 1930, in Dieterich, the daughter of Layton and Laura (Plummer) Fields. She married Charles E. Lueken on March 5, 1948, and he preceded her in death on June 26, 2010.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Teutopolis, St. Francis Council of Catholic Women and Catholic Daughters of America Council 1711.
She is survived by four sons, Steven (Lori) Lueken of Peoria, Thomas (Mary) Lueken of Albion, Mich., Daniel Lueken and William Lueken, both of Teutopolis; two daughters, Kathy Vogt of St. Louis and Karen (Dan) Kremer of Teutopolis; one brother, Richard Fields of Brownsville, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and six sisters.
