Nina L. McWhorter, 69, passed away Saturday evening, November 14, 2020 at her home in Effingham.

A walk-through memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.

Nina was born March 6, 1951 in Charleston, the daughter of Billie Paul and JoeAnn Bullard. She married Robert L. "Bob" McWhorter and worked many years as the manager for Jumpin Jimmie's in Effingham.

Nina is survived by her husband, Bob of Effingham; children, Tony (Stacy) McWhorter of Vandalia, Cliff (Naomi) Cawthron of Effingham, Gerri Novak (Jason Cundiff) of Watson, Dawn (Chris) Haynes of Evansville, IN, Chad (Tracy) McWhorter of Effingham and Mike Cawthron of Effingham; brother, David (Danielle) Paul of Greenup; sisters, Vickie (Steve) Boling of DeMotte, IN, Candy (Jack) Fowler of Effingham, Scarlott (Dave) Lessard of Hammond, IN and Debi Stout of Highland; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nina was preceded in death by her mother, JoeAnn Bullard; step-father, Donald Bullard; step-mother, Dolly Paul; father, Bill Paul; daughter, Lori Ann Cawthron; grandson, Tyler Christopher Haynes and brother, Bill Paul, Jr.
