Nellie M. Hayes' Obituary
Nellie M. Hayes, 91 of Effingham, passed away at 1:39 a.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Burial will be held in Dieterich Cemetery at a later date.
Nellie was born July 14, 1923 in Wheeler, the daughter of George and Gladys (Loy) Buhler. She married Joseph H. Hayes in 1974 and he preceded her in death in 1994.
Nellie is survived by her daughters, Ruth Tharp of Portland, OR and Barbara Nelson of Fruita, CO; nephews, Graham Buhler and Tom Buhler, both of Dieterich; nieces, Della Buhler, Linda Campbel, and Shirley (Vernon) Jamison, all of Effingham; sister-in-law, Norma Buhler of Effingham.
Nellie was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jackie Payne and infant son, Glen T. Hayes; three brothers and one sister.
Burial will be held in Dieterich Cemetery at a later date.
