Nancy L. Probst, 69, passed away at 11:06 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at her home in Watson surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to time of service, Saturday at the funeral home with a private burial to be held at a later date. Nancy was born December 3, 1945 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Glenn and Arlene (Tush) Crawford. She married Gerald J. Probst on March 19, 1964 and he survives. Nancy received her Associates Degree in medical transcription, was a homemaker and also worked as a waitress at several area restaurants.

Nancy was a strong woman and loved her family more than anything. They include by her husband, Gerald of Watson; two sons, Gerald (Rhonda), Jr. and Douglas (Jennifer), both of Watson; daughter, Tammy (Eric) Watson of Crestwood, KY and brother, Roger Crawford of Commerce City, CA; seven grandchildren, Danielle Wade, Nathan Wade, Jessica Watson, Alex Watson, Jacob Probst, Holly Prost and Wyatt Probst; two great-grandchildren, Vanessa Wade and Jaaziah Wade and one more on the way; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, brother and three sisters.
