Mildred Louise Duncan Daugherty, 81 of Beecher City, passed away Tuesday morning, August 8, 2017 at Aperion Care in St. Elmo.

Services to celebrate Mildred's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Evangel United Methodist Church in Beecher City. A time of visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until time of memorial service, Saturday afternoon at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Beecher City United Methodist Church Roof Fund, Tri-County Fire Department First Responders or HSHS Hospice Services.

Mildred was born May 29, 1936 in Olney, the daughter of Everett and Evie Duncan. She enjoyed her church, Alpha Delta Kappa teaching sorority activities, traveling, family, but really, her life in general.

Mildred is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bob of Beecher City; son, Craig (Cathy) Daugherty; daughter, Julie (Mike) McAdams; brother, Charles (Barbara) Duncan; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one due in March 2018; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Duncan and Loretta Duncan, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and twin brothers, James and Robert Duncan.
