Michael Aaron Williams, 19 of Effingham, passed away at 6:14 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 31, 2014 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Swedish Lutheran Cemetery, rural Shelby County. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the funeral home. His family requests that all who attend the services to please wear casual attire. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Michael was born May 25, 1995 in Effingham, the son of Aaron and Mary (Hardwick) Williams.

He is survived by his parents, Mary (Ryan) Banning of Effingham and Aaron (Tracy) Williams of Mattoon; two brothers, Marcus and Morgan Banning; four sisters, Marissa Williams, Mackenzie Banning, Faith Alvis and Hannah Alvis; grandmother, Cheri Hardwick of Effingham; grandparents, Dan and Diana Williams of Stewardson and Donald and Cathy Banning of Edgewood; great-grandmother, Marie Williams.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bob Hardwick; great-grandfather, Paul Williams and great-grandparents, Arble and Ruby Moffitt.
