MaryBeth Fallert, 73, passed away at 12:33 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at her home in Effingham.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2015 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Sigel with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, Sigel. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Helen Matthes Library Building Fund. MaryBeth was born December 21, 1941 in Effingham, the daughter of Herman and Clara (Bussman) Hoene. She was Assistant Manager of Norstar Bank in New York. After her retirement, she married John "Jack" Fallert on November 29, 1986 and he preceded her in death in 2010. MaryBeth was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham; an avid reader, enjoyed quilting and loved her grandchildren very much.
MaryBeth is survived by her three daughters, Terry Fernando of Ames, IA, Nancy (Mark) Nagel of Plano, TX and Kathy (Arthur) Courbanou of Huntington, NY; four step-children, Audra Welker of Effingham, Jason (Jen) Fallert of Effingham, Elaine Fallert of Litchfield and Jenny (Mike) Brown of Danville; sister, Rita (Bob) Sponomore of St. Charles, MO; eighteen grandchildren also survive.
MaryBeth was preceded in death by her parents and husband, "Jack".
