Maryann B. Adamson, 66 of Stewardson, passed away at 8:32 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 9, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shumway with visitation a half hour prior to services. An additional mass will also be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2012 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 14327 Highland Avenue, Orland Park, Illinois with visiting hours a half hour prior to services. Burial will take place in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Shumway. Maryann was born July 28, 1946 in Chicago, the daughter of Clarence and Josephine (Domerawski) Porod. She married David W. Adamson on May 8, 1971 and he survives. Maryann was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shumway.

Maryann is survived by her husband, David of Stewardson; son, David A. Adamson of Tinley Park; daughter, Heather Ann (Gavin) Aprile of Manteno; two grandchildren, Gavin and Josephine; two brothers, Clarence (Shirley) Porod, Jr. and Thomas (Judy) Porod of Westchester; one sister, Joanne (Ken) Martorelli of Darien.

Maryann was preceded in death by her parents.
