Mary taught Kindergarten for 37 years in Neoga. She put as much effort and love into her teaching; remembering each and every student and following their lives into adulthood. She kept score for the Neoga Jr. High and High School sports teams and always supplied the referees and announcers with their favorite candies and cookies. Mary did not forget about her community, in that she volunteered in numerous activities as a good and faithful servant. Every week, Mary drove for Meals on Wheels and volunteered at Lakeland Nursing Home.
Mary was a member of St. Anthony Parish and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She was an active member of DeColores and was their treasurer for 35 years. Mary was a spirit-filled servant who loved the Lord and willingly and joyfully served this "church". The number of lives she touched is countless.
