Mary Janet Lindsay's Obituary
Mary Janet Lindsay, 70, of rural Altamont, formerly of Effingham, died Sunday morning, February 27, 2011 at her home. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Janet was born September 30, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Ray and Mary (Carroll) Pratte. She married Charles E. Lindsay on November 20, 1963.
Janet is survived by her husband; two sons, Tim (wife, Debbie) and Matthew, both of Effingham; two grandchildren, Sara and Nicholas; one sister, Kathleen Ann Pratte of St. Charles, Missouri.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Irene; one brother, Joe.
