Marsha K. Mcwilliams' Obituary
Marsha K. McWilliams 68, of Effingham passed away at 6:15 a.m. Sunday, July 24, 2011, at her home near Lake Sara in rural Effingham.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Bauer Funeral Home, Effingham, with burial in Arborcrest Memorial Park, west of Effingham. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. untill service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Online condolences may be left at www.bauerfh.com
Marsha was born August 18, 1942, in Decatur, the daughter of Merle K. and Georgia Marie (Clem) Mullis. She married Robert "Bob" McWilliams on February 2, 1963, and he preceded her in death in 2008.
Marsha was a homemaker. She was an avid genealogist and enjoyed extensive research on her family's history, as well as other families' history.
She is surived by her son, Michael of St. Louis; daughter DeAnna McWilliams of Effingham; grandchildren, Alexandria Marie Mahon and Parker Alan Danuser; mother Georgia Marie Hanks of Effingham; and half-sister, Kathy Busboom of Gilford.
She was preceded in death by her husband; father; and step-father, William J. Hanks
