Mark A. Apke, 51, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at his home in Effingham.

Private graveside services will be held at St. Mary Help of Christians Cemetery in Green Creek.

Mark was born October 7, 1968, the son of Alfred H. and Elizabeth M. "Betty" (Meyer) Apke.

Mark is survived by his mother, Betty of Green Creek; siblings, Joe (Sara) Apke of Ashland, MA, Christy (Andy) Baker of Trilla, Karen (Alan) Hanfland of Teutopolis, Julie (Stan) Habing of Bishop and Donna (Nate) Mihlbacher of Neoga; several nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by his father.
