Marjorie L. Golden, 77, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at her home in Effingham.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorial donations may be given to the HSHS Hospice.

Marjorie was born April 13, 1944 in Cumberland County, the daughter of Wayne and Ruby (Devall) Watts. She married Mark E. Golden on October 27, 1961 and he preceded her in death in 1987. Marjorie worked at the Ettelbrick Shoe Company in Greenup and was later the manager of the Best Western - Raintree Inn.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Margie (Bill), Mary (Vic), Mike (Beth), Marvin (Becky) and Melody (Steve); 32 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Dorothy; sons, Lenny, Lewis and Mark; three sisters and three brothers; a grandchild, 4 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
