Marian C. Weishaar, 84 of Island Grove, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Heartland Senior Living in Neoga.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Island Grove, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the church. Memorial donations may be given to Community Support Systems.

Marian was born January 24, 1937 in Lillyville, the daughter of Edward and Emma (Vahling) Zumbahlen. She married Vincent B. Weishaar on November 10, 1956 and he preceded her in death in 2005.

Marian is survived by her sons, Tim of Wheeler, Todd (Brenda) of Teutopolis, John of Altamont and Gary of Teutopolis; daughters, Lori (Paul) Hagen of Montrose, Margie (Kurt) Haarmann of Effingham and Janet (Doug) Thomas of Mattoon; brother, Elmer (Elaine) Zumbahlen of Wheeler; sisters, Rosie Bergbower of Newton, Estelle (Richard) Deters of Boulder, CO, Irene Correll of Newton, Christine (Don) Litzelman of St. Marie and Marie Dust of Effingham; nineteen grandchildren, one step-grandchild, eight great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

Marian was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Art, Clete, Sylvester, Leonard and Vince; sister, Clara Brummer; son-in-law, Dan Hoene and grandson, Aaron Hoene.
