Marian Louise Grunloh, 81, of Effingham, IL passed away on November 16, 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 19,2012 at St. Anthony of padua Catholic Church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday evening at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorials may be made to St. Anthony Schools or Catholic Charities. www.bauerfh.com

Marian was born, to Clarence and Lena Steger, on January 3, 1931, in Island Grove, IL. She went to Newton High School. She married Clifford Grunloh, on May 13, 1950 in Island Grove. Marian worked with her husband in the businesses that they created together. They had a construction company, golf course, supper club and a drapery shop. She was a member of St. Anthony church. She was involved in Ladies Sodality, Friends of St. Anthony Hospital and enjoyed gardening, golfing, hunting and spending time with her family and friends.

Cliff and Marian have 9 children; Ted (Jean Anne) Grunloh , Richard Grunloh, Debby (Joe) Rickelman of Worth, IL, Bill (Diana) Grunloh of Springfield, IL, Sandy (Steve) Brown of Champaign, IL, Tom Grunloh, Lynn (Bruce) Lustig, Ed (Lori) Grunloh and Amy (Scott) Jolliff of Atlanta, GA. They have 20 grandchildren; Jeremy Grunloh, Nicole (David) Hauschild, Paul (Lexi) Rickelman, Natalie Mask, Jackie (Bryan) Dunne, Erin (John) Dudley, Ashley (Ross) Bierman, Eric Brown, Bailey Lustig, Dani Grunloh, Allie Grunloh, Lucas Brown, Anna (Jeremy) Kyle, Andrew Grunloh, Alex Lustig, Patrick Grunloh, Lena Grunloh, Nick Grunloh, Adam Jolliff and Noah Jolliff and 6 great-grandchildren; Lauren Mask, Ava Mask, Lucy Bierman, Rusch Rickelman, Harper Dunne and Elle Bierman.
