Marguerite Will, 90 of Sigel, Illinois passed away at 7:35 a.m., Friday, December 31, 2021 at Saint Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with the burial in St. Rose Cemetery, Montrose. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham . Memorial donations may be made to donor's choice.
Marguerite Will was born February 12, 1931 in Effingham , the daughter of John and Anna (Lawrence) Ungrund. She was united in marriage to Louis R. Will on June 30, 1956 in Lillyville, Illinois. Marguerite was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend who assisted her husband in managing the farm and being a homemaker. Marguerite was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Montrose. Marguerite enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing cards, traveling, and spending time with her loved ones.
Marguerite leaves behind sons; Kenneth Will of Sigel, Melvin (Chris) Will of Sigel, Gary Will of Sigel, and Brian (Karen) will of Sigel, daughter; Barbara (Terry) Funneman of Teutopolis, grandchildren; Ashley Funneman, Chelsey Funneman, Jared Funneman, Ross Will, Tori (Jordan) Stock, Dylan Will, Reagan Will, Brooklyn Will, Dani (Justin) Ruholl, Beth Cottrill, Adam (Michelle) Walk, and Seth (Emily) Walk, and eight great grandchildren, and brother; Edward (Alice) Ungrund, and sisters-in-law Theresa Probst and Mary Hoelscher.
Marguerite was proceeded in death by her husband; Louis Will, parents; John and Anna (Lawrence) Ungrund, and brother; Henry (Helen) Ungrund, and in-laws Peter and Frances Will, Adolph and Florence Will, Pete and Olivia Will, Henry and Virginia Will, Vincent and Delores Will, Emma Hoelscher (Ed), Agnes Mettendorf/Buening, Lidvinia (Paul) Heuerman, and Clara (Ralph) Koester, and Roger Probst.
Marguerite's family would like to thank the staff at Saint Anthony's Memorial Hospital for caring for her during the last days of her life.
