Mara T. Fairfield, 37 of Effingham, passed away June 1, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Mara was born November 19, 1982 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the daughter of Charles and Peggy (Derechin) Moroz. She married Russell B. Fairfield on July 14, 2004. She was a Prevention Care Specialist at Crisis Nursery in Effingham.

She is survived by her husband, Russell; children, Tristan and Kira; nephew and niece, Braxton and Bexley, all of Effingham; mother, Peggy Siefried of Greenacres, FL.

Mara was preceded in death by her father, Charles Moroz.
